The 136th China Import and Export Fair 2024

The China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was founded in 1957 and is held annually in Guangzhou in spring and autumn. It has been successfully held for 135 sessions and is currently the longest, largest, most comprehensive international trade event in China, with the widest variety of goods, the largest number of buyers attending, and the widest distribution of countries and regions. It has the best transaction results and the best reputation. In recent years, the number of domestic and foreign exhibitors at each Canton Fair has reached 26000, covering 16 major categories of goods, gathering high-quality suppliers from various industries, and attracting nearly 200000 professional buyers from more than 200 countries to attend and purchase. The 130th Canton Fair in 2021 expanded the invitation for domestic buyers to participate for the first time, with a total of over 600000 buyers attending. In terms of online exhibitions, the official website of the 132nd Canton Fair in 2022 received over 38 million visits, with 510000 overseas buyers registering enterprise level information from 229 countries and regions worldwide.

In order to expand imports and promote trade balance, since the 101st session, the Canton Fair has established an import exhibition to help international enterprises expand business opportunities in China and globally. After 135 sessions of development, it has attracted more than 15000 overseas companies from over 100 countries and regions, including numerous high-quality national/regional pavilions and world-renowned enterprises.

The newly built Zone D of the Canton Fair Exhibition Hall has been put into use, serving the global import exhibition of the Canton Fair, promoting the entry of high-quality products from more countries into the Chinese market, and creating better conditions for sharing the opportunities of China's open development.

Exhibition time

The 136th Canton Fair is scheduled to open on October 15, 2024.

Phase 1: October 15-19, 2024;

Phase 2: October 23-27, 2024;

Third period: October 31st to November 4th, 2024;

Extension period: October 20-22, October 28-30, 2024.

The online platform service period is six months (September 16, 2024- March 15, 2025)

Phase 1: Consumer electronics and information products, household appliances, automotive parts, lighting products, electronic and electrical products, hardware, tools;

Phase 2: Daily ceramics, household items, kitchen utensils, home decorations, holiday supplies, gifts and giveaways, glass crafts, craft ceramics, watches and glasses, garden supplies, weaving and rattan crafts, building and decorative materials, bathroom equipment, furniture;

Phase 3: Home textiles, carpets and tapestries, men's and women's clothing, underwear, sportswear and casual wear, fur, leather, down and related products, clothing accessories and accessories, textile raw materials and fabrics, shoes, bags and suitcases, food, sports and tourism leisure products, medical and health products and medical equipment, pet products, bathroom supplies, personal care equipment, office stationery, toys, children's clothing, maternity and infant products.
